A little about me...
From the moment I walked out of Johnson & Wales University, diploma in hand, I knew that graphic design was my calling. I had poured my heart and soul into my college career, and my passion had already earned me recognition as a published designer by my junior year throughout New England. It was an exhilarating experience that left me hungry for more.
After graduation, I returned to my hometown in Delaware and set up shop as the founder of HMV Designs. My mission was to help local businesses achieve their design and marketing goals, and it wasn't long before I began to make waves. My hard work and creativity paid off when I won the prestigious 2019 and 2020 Package Design Awards from Graphic Design USA, the 2023 In-house Design Awards for branding, and most notably, the Graphic Design USA 2023 Award for Publication Design. This national recognition solidifies my standing as an award-winning graphic designer.
But my ambitions didn't stop there. I specialize in social media engagement and strategy, utilizing innovative and fresh ideas to help my clients succeed. Whether it's crafting compelling content, influencer marketing, or developing a comprehensive social media strategy, I'm dedicated to delivering results.
In addition to my graphic design expertise, I own a second business called La Nunery Apothecary—a micro apothecary that creates organic and sustainable items. This venture reflects my commitment to ethical and environmentally conscious practices, adding another dimension to my creative endeavors.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I founded Delaware Female Creatives, a thriving community of 2,000+ female creatives and business owners. I'm passionate about growing this community and helping women connect, inspire each other, and thrive in their fields.
